On behalf of the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF), Ms. Ha Thi Nga - Member of the Party Central Committee, Vice Chairwoman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front has just signed and issued Instruction No. 08/HD-MTTW-BTT on Organizing the National Great Unity Festival 2025 (abbreviated as the Festival).
The content of the Instruction clearly states that the Festival aims to promote the glorious tradition of the Vietnam National United Front, strengthen the great national unity bloc, create a vibrant competitive atmosphere in the residential community to practically celebrate the celebration of major holidays in the year and move towards welcoming the 14th National Party Congress (term 2026 - 2031), the 11th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (term 2026 - 2031); propagate and mobilize people to implement the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's laws and policies; strengthen social consensus and the positive response of the people, especially in reorganizing administrative units and implementing the 2-level local government model.
Along with that, it will honor and commend outstanding collectives and individuals in implementing campaigns, patriotic emulation movements and social security activities in the community. Diversify the forms of organizing the Festival, promote the role of self-management and creativity of the people thereby to contribute to building a united, prosperous and happy residential area; building new rural areas and civilized urban areas.
The guidelines also require the organization of the Festival to be widely deployed to residential areas across the country; expand the scope and scale of organizing the Festival to agencies, units, schools (for places that are able to organize the Festival) to spread the meaning of the Festival to cadres, party members, workers, students, etc.; at the same time, focus on innovation, content and methods of organizing the Festival in accordance with the actual situation of the locality.
Implementing digital transformation applications creates interaction and spread on social networking platforms in organizing the Festival. The activities in the Festival ensure thrift, safety, efficiency, avoid formality and waste, and have the full participation of all classes of people in the residential area. The content of the Ceremony is solemn and concise; the content of the Festival creates a joyful, warm atmosphere and honors the traditional cultural values of the nation, beliefs, religions, regions...
The festival focuses on promoting the achievements after 80 years of successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025); 80 years of the First General Election to elect the National Assembly of Vietnam (January 6, 1946 - January 6, 2026) and election of People's Council delegates at all levels (February 17, 1946 - February 17, 2026); reviewing the 95-year tradition of formation and development of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (November 18, 1930 - November 18, 2025) and the results of building the great national unity bloc.
Propagate and disseminate the Party's guidelines, the State's policies and laws, especially the results of the revolution in streamlining the administrative apparatus and the programs and plans of the Party committees and authorities in the process of operating the two-level local government apparatus.
Propagate, introduce and replicate typical examples, good deeds, creative solutions in implementing campaigns and patriotic emulation movements in localities, especially in implementing the task of building new rural areas, civilized urban areas; good people, good deeds and outstanding collectives and individuals who have made many contributions to building the homeland and the country, especially in the current period.
Propaganda is promoted through radio and television systems; electronic information portals, Fanpages, social networks of communities, localities, agencies, units, organizations and individuals; Through community activities; activities of people's unions; agencies and units standing in residential areas.
Organize the hanging of banners, slogans, billboards, posters, flags, flowers, etc. in residential areas, locations of cultural and social centers in residential areas and agencies, units, schools; organize cultural, artistic activities, folk dance and mass sports activities; fairs, exhibitions, introductions of typical products of localities, regions, and regions; introduce and display typical products and achievements of agencies, units, schools, etc.
The Festival will take place from November 1, 2025 to November 18, 2025.
