On August 19, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City coordinated with the Hue City Border Guard Command and border guards on the Vietnam - Laos border to inaugurate and hand over 4 Great Solidarity houses to households in difficult circumstances.
Each house is supported with 60 million VND from the "For the Poor" Fund of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City. During the construction process, officers and soldiers of border guards directly participated in hundreds of working days, contributing to speeding up progress and ensuring the quality of the project.
After more than 4 months of construction, 4 solid and spacious houses have been handed over to the following households: Ms. Ho Thi My (A Ka village, A Luoi 4 commune), Mr. Ho Van Tram (A Deeng Pan Lieng 1 village, A Luoi 1 commune), Mr. Ho Van Hinh (Can Te village, A Luoi 3 commune) and Mr. Tran Van Khua (Lien Hiep village, A Luoi 4 commune).
This is a practical activity in response to the movement "Eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses" in 2025, and at the same time celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2. Supporting housing for poor households in border areas not only helps people stabilize their lives and feel secure in their labor and production, but also contributes to strengthening the great national unity bloc, building a solid border posture.
Speaking at the ceremony, Lieutenant Colonel Le Hong Tuyen - Deputy Political Commissar of the Hue City Border Guard emphasized: "This is a meaningful and practical activity, strengthening the solidarity of the army and people, contributing to firmly protecting territorial sovereignty and national border security".
The activity also demonstrated the deep concern of the Party, State, army and local government for the people in the border area, continuing to spread the noble image of "Uncle Ho's soldiers" in the new era.
