On July 7, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFF) of Ho Tram commune (HCMC) said that it has coordinated with units and philanthropists to organize the "Lighting up Dreams" festival in 2026, aiming to spread love and continue to go to school for children in difficult circumstances in the area.
To continue to promote the effectiveness of mobilizing social resources to care for children in difficult circumstances, and at the same time create a connection between the Fatherland Front Committees of hamlets and organizations, individuals, and philanthropists in accompanying children, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Tram commune has built and implemented the social security model "Lighting up Dreams", and at the same time oriented the operating contents of the model in the coming time.
At the model launch, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Tram commune received a donation of 201 million VND from units and philanthropists. At the same time, it organized the presentation of 151 gifts to disadvantaged students. Thereby contributing to encouraging and motivating them to continue striving to rise up in their studies and lives. Each gift presented not only carries material value but also sends the feelings, sharing and belief of the community towards the young generation, contributing to spreading the spirit of "Mutual affection - No one is left behind".
According to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Tram commune, the "Lighting up Dreams" model is implemented to effectively implement social security work, care for children in difficult circumstances in the area, so that they can continue to study. At the same time, through the model, it also calls for the joint efforts and companionship of organizations, philanthropists, and benefactors to empower students in difficult circumstances to firmly go to school.
