On August 22, Chairman of Dien Bien Provincial People's Committee Le Van Luong and leaders of socio-political organizations of the province chaired a dialogue conference with union members and association members in 2026.
The conference was organized directly combined with online sessions to commune and ward bridge points in the province.
This is the first time the Provincial People's Committee has organized a dialogue with union members and association members after implementing the two-level local government model.

Speaking at the conference, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Van Luong requested delegates to frankly exchange issues directly related to the lives, rights and activities of union members and association members.
Provincial leaders requested departments, branches, and commune and ward People's Committees to answer directly and go straight to each proposed content according to their authority.
Issues under the province's authority must be studied and resolved; contents beyond authority must be summarized and reported to competent authorities.
At the conference, delegates were informed about the socio-economic development situation of the province in the first 6 months of 2026 and the operating results of socio-political organizations in 2025 and the first 6 months of 2026.
Throughout the dialogue, union members and association members raised many recommendations close to the reality of production and life.


In which, delegates proposed solutions to support small and medium-sized enterprises to access preferential credit capital sources; ensure labor safety and hygiene and implement insurance and social housing policies for workers.
Issues related to the development of macadamia trees, coffee, policies to support key crops and accelerating the progress of the "Bringing Dien Bien" program are also of concern.
The recommendations were directly exchanged, answered and clarified by leaders of departments and sectors.
Concluding the conference, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Van Luong requested departments, agencies, branches and grassroots authorities to seriously receive and promptly resolve recommendations under their authority.
Contents that cannot be processed must clearly identify the causes, difficulties, obstacles and continue to be researched and answered.
Provincial leaders also requested to strengthen coordination and create conditions for socio-political organizations to operate effectively.
Focus on improving the qualifications, skills, legal awareness and labor discipline for union members and association members, promoting the role in Party building and government building.
