On August 4, the Quang Ninh Provincial Working Group directly presented 5 billion VND to Dien Bien province and 3 billion VND to Son La province to support overcoming the consequences of natural disasters.
In the two localities, the Working Group shared the heavy damage caused by prolonged heavy rain causing floods, flash floods, and landslides in the area in recent times, and sent their condolences and deep sympathy to Party committees, authorities, and people in affected areas.
Quang Ninh is one of the first localities to promptly support funding to overcome the consequences of natural disasters for Dien Bien and Son La, demonstrating the spirit of "mutual love and support" with the whole country towards localities in difficulty.
Previously, Quang Ninh province also supported Nghe An province with 5 billion VND to overcome the consequences of the impact of storm No. 3 in 2025 (storm Wipha) and post-storm circulation.
