On the morning of June 25, General Secretary and President To Lam attended the solemn session of the 13th National Youth Union Congress, term 2026-2031.

The solemn session of the 13th National Youth Union Congress, term 2026-2031, took place with the main contents: Art program to welcome the Congress; flag salute ceremony; solemn opening speech of the Congress; children welcoming the Congress; summary presentation of the Political Report; report; presentation of delegates attending the Congress; launch of the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Secretariat of the 13th Central Youth Union, term 2026 - 2031.

In particular, according to the plan, at the solemn session, General Secretary and President To Lam will deliver a directing speech.

Previously, at the opening session on the morning of June 24, the Congress approved the program, regulations, report on appraisal of delegate qualifications, presented a summary of the Political Report, a summary of the Review Report of the 12th Central Committee of the Youth Union, and a report on amending and supplementing the 12th Youth Union Charter.

In the second session (afternoon of June 24), the Congress elected the Executive Committee of the Central Committee of the 13th Youth Union and discussed at 5 forums with 5 different topics; delegates also conducted discussions in groups.

The fourth session - the closing session of the Congress will take place on the afternoon of June 25, conducting voting on some contents of the Congress, passing Resolutions...

With the action slogan: "Resilience - Pioneering creativity - Aspiration to contribute - Mastering the future", the 13th National Congress of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union takes place in the context of the country entering a new stage of development, with very high requirements for innovation, digital transformation, science and technology development, international integration, green development, sustainable development and improving the quality of young human resources.

Therefore, the Congress is not only an opportunity to review a term of office, but also an important time to establish the vision, aspirations, responsibilities and new methods of action of the Youth Union organization to concretize the Resolution of the 14th Party Congress, the Resolution of the 11th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, to maximize the pioneering and creative role of youth in the new era of the nation and together towards an extremely important milestone, the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union.

The Congress was attended by nearly 790 official delegates, who are outstanding officials and union members, representing nearly 22 million Vietnamese union members and youth at home and abroad.

This Congress continues to apply the model of Congress without paperwork, all documents, listing and voting at the Congress implemented through mobile applications to concretize the policy of comprehensive digital transformation of the Union's activities.
