On January 23, a clip appeared on social networks recording images of traffic police officers patrolling and leading a convoy to open the way for vehicles carrying pregnant women to the hospital in time.
According to records, the incident took place at 7:45 am on January 22, amidst a crowded traffic flow in the morning at Dan Chu roundabout, a task force on duty regulating traffic including Captain Vo Tan Phong and Captain Ly Vinh Dat (officers of the Escort Team of the Traffic Police Department of Ho Chi Minh City Police) suddenly received an emergency distress signal.

A taxi driver hurriedly stopped by the side of the road, with an worried face, presenting that the car was carrying a woman in labor, about to give birth, who needed support to open the road to Tu Du Hospital as soon as possible.
Recognizing the urgent situation, Captain Vo Tan Phong immediately used a walkie-talkie to report the incident and ask for instructions from the on-duty staff and unit command to allow the task force to leave their positions while on duty.
Immediately after receiving the consent of the team leader, the two traffic police officers quickly deployed a support plan.
The task force used specialized motorbikes, turned on horns and priority lights, and directly guided taxis to move through the Cach Mang Thang Tam - Nguyen Thi Minh Khai - Cong Quynh routes, weaving through crowded traffic quickly, safely, and promptly to take the pregnant woman to Tu Du Hospital.
