On July 2, the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee held a conference to announce the decision of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) on the establishment and approval of the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; the decision of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee on the establishment of the Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Agency; the approval decisions of the Central Committee for 5 socio-political organizations of Ho Chi Minh City.
Previously, on June 26, 2025, the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front issued Decision No. 517 to recognize the member of the Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, consisting of 29 people.
At the same time, the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front issued Decision No. 518, dated June 26, 2025, on recognizing the positions in the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, including the following comrades:
Mr. Nguyen Phuoc Loc - Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, holds the position of Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City.

Ms. Truong Thi Bich Hanh - Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, holds the position of Permanent Vice Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City.
Mr. Bui Thanh Nhan - Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, and Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation.

Based on the decision of the Central Government and the regulations of the Party, the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee issued Regulations on the functions, tasks, and organization of the apparatus of the Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; issued a decision to establish the Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Agency and notified the personnel of the head and deputy head of the Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Agency.
The Standing Committee of the City Party Committee assigned Ms. Truong Thi Bich Hanh, member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City as the Head of the Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and the remaining 7 Vice Chairmen of the Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee to be the Deputy Heads of the Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Nguyen Phuoc Loc - Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City said: "With the motto that Ho Chi Minh City is of the whole country, together with the whole country, for the whole country, we must have national responsibility".
The Vietnam Fatherland Front, organizations and people of the city must strive to change the state to be worthy and meet the requirements and tasks in the new development stage. From there, it is in line with the people's instructions and expectations.
With that spirit, Mr. Nguyen Phuoc Loc acknowledged the contributions of cadres in the past time.
