Authorities have organized traffic diversion and put up warning signs to ensure safety.
According to the Thai Nguyen Hydrometeorological Station, by the morning of October 7, the water level at Thac Gieng station reached 100.37m, 1.87m higher than alert level 3; Cho Moi station reached 57.75m, 0.25m below alert level 3; Gia Bay station reached 27.12m, 0.12m above alert level 3; Cha station reached 6.74m, 1.26m below alert level 1...


On October 7, water levels in rivers continued to fluctuate complicatedly. It is forecasted that at Gia Bay station, floods will continue to rise rapidly, with water levels 2 - 2.3m above alert level 3 (above the historical flood peak of 28.81m in 2024 at Gia Bay station caused by storm Yagi); at Cho Moi station, the peak flood level may reach 59.50m, 1.5m above alert level 3.

The Chairman of the People's Committee of Thai Nguyen province has requested localities to urgently notify and request households in areas at risk of flooding to evacuate to safe places, absolutely not leaving people in dangerous areas.
