Exciting preparations for election day
According to records, localities in Ho Chi Minh City are completing the final stages to be ready for the election day of National Assembly deputies of the 16th term and People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2026 - 2031 term.
From listing voters' lists and candidate lists to decorating and preparing facilities at polling stations, everything is being implemented synchronously. Many localities have also conducted trial operation of the voting process and drills for arising situations.

At the same time, many propaganda and dissemination activities on election regulations were also organized to help voters understand the process, rights and obligations of themselves when participating in voting.
In Binh Thanh ward, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Binh Thanh ward has just organized a propaganda and election guidance session for voters who are visually impaired and people in special circumstances in the area. The propaganda content is designed to suit each target group, helping voters access information about the election process as well as biographies and action programs of candidates.
Meanwhile, at the polling stations in the ward, the preparation work is basically completed. Mr. Ho Hoang Nam - Head of Election Team No. 39 - said that the unit has completed the compilation and posting of voter lists. At the same time, publicly posted biographies and action programs of candidates for people to easily follow.

When issuing voter cards, the election team also sends biographies of candidates to each household. Propaganda work is also promoted through hanging banners and panels in the polling area and streets in the neighborhood.
Polling station No. 39 has about 2,200 voters participating in voting. With careful preparation from the locality and coordination of the political system in the neighborhood, we believe that this year's election work will take place smoothly. The election team also fully implemented the instructions of superiors, creating the most favorable conditions for voters to exercise their citizen rights" - Mr. Nam shared.
Put your trust in the ballot
In the bustling atmosphere of preparing for election day, many voters, especially young voters, expressed their excitement and placed expectations on the delegates who will be selected in the new term.
Ms. Dang Hong Phuc (21 years old, Binh Thanh ward) said that from a young age, she often saw her parents go to the polls, so when she grew up and was able to hold the ballot herself to participate in the election, she felt very honored and more aware of her responsibility to society.

This 21-year-old female student hopes that the delegates after being elected will accompany people's lives, matching words with deeds. At the same time, pay more attention to policies to support young people such as starting a business, creating jobs and building more learning and creative spaces for young people.
Sharing the same expectation, Ms. Phung Kim Loan - a young voter in Tan Son Nhat ward - believes that elected delegates need to be truly virtuous and talented people, close to the people and listen to voters' opinions.
I hope delegates will pay more attention to policies for young people, especially investing in programs to support education, learning, skills development and create more creative space for young people. At the same time, it is necessary to create conditions for young people to start businesses and have the opportunity to make positive contributions to the development of the locality and the country" - Ms. Loan shared.
Meanwhile, Mr. Tran Quoc Hung - a voter in Binh Thanh ward - said that through meetings with voters in the past time, many candidates have shown a sense of responsibility and enthusiasm when listening to people's opinions.
According to Mr. Hung, if elected by voters, delegates need to continue to record and promptly reflect people's recommendations, contributing to building the locality and the country to develop more and more.
