On the morning of July 15, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFF) of Da Nang City held an online conference with 94 points to collect comments on the draft political report submitted to the 23rd Congress of the City Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030.
At the conference, delegates basically agreed with the layout and content of the draft, highly appreciating the document's comprehensive coverage of all areas of the new city of Da Nang. Many enthusiastic and constructive opinions have been given, focusing on major orientations on socio-economic development, Party building and the political system.
One of the top issues of concern is planning work. Delegates said that with the new administrative space, many old plans for landfills, industrial clusters, transportation, etc. are no longer suitable and need to be prioritized for reconstruction. At the same time, there should be specific policies, focusing resources on disadvantaged areas, developing island tourism to improve people's lives.
Many specific recommendations were also raised such as: need to completely resolve suspended and unfinished projects; study the relocation of Da Nang University village to the South to reduce pressure on the center; strongly invest in high-tech vocational training and support for startups.
In particular, the field of culture and arts received deep attention. Delegates suggested highlighting the role of literature and art, researching the establishment of a Fund for creative support, building a cultural creation area and focusing on preserving intangible cultural heritages such as folk songs, Tuong, and Kho ti.
Concluding the conference, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Da Nang City - Mr. Le Tri Thanh acknowledged all opinions and said that he would fully synthesize them to report to the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee.
