The strongest wind near the center of the tropical depression is level 7 (50 - 61km/h), gusting to level 9. The tropical depression is moving northwest at a speed of 10 - 15km/h.
It is forecasted that in the next 24 hours, the tropical depression will move northwest at a speed of 10 - 15km/h and is likely to strengthen into a storm. At 7:00 a.m. on September 7, the center of the storm was at about 19.4 degrees north latitude - 115.1 degrees east longitude, about 430km northeast of Hoang Sa Special Zone. Strong wind level 8, gust level 10.
The danger zone is within latitude 16 - 21 degrees north latitude and longitude 113.5 - 119 degrees east longitude. The natural disaster risk level is level 3, affecting the eastern sea area of the northern East Sea.
It is forecasted that in the next 48 hours, the storm will move northwest at a speed of about 15km/h and continue to strengthen. At 7:00 a.m. on September 8, the center of the storm was at about 21.8 degrees north latitude - 112.0 degrees east longitude, in the coastal area of Guangdong province (China). Strong wind level 9, gust level 11.
The dangerous area is located north of the 18- degrees north latitude and within the 110 - 117 degrees east longitude. The natural disaster risk level is level 3, affecting the northern sea area of the northern East Sea.
It is forecasted that in the next 48 - 72 hours, the storm will move west-northwest, traveling about 15km per hour.
