It is forecasted that in the next 24 hours, the storm will move north-northeast at a speed of 15 - 20km/h and is likely to strengthen. At 4:00 a.m. on July 7, the center of the storm was at about 24.4 degrees north latitude; 119.7 degrees east longitude, in the waters of Fujian province (China).
Strong storm intensity level 10 - 11, gust level 13. The dangerous area in the next 24 hours will be located north of the latitude of 19.5 degrees north; east of the longitude of 116.5 degrees east. The natural disaster risk level is level 3. The affected area is the northeastern sea area of the North East Sea.
It is forecasted that in the next 48 hours, the storm will continue to move north-northeast at a speed of 15 - 20km/h. At 4:00 a.m. on July 8, the center of the storm was at about 27.7 degrees north latitude; 121.5 degrees east longitude, in the waters of Zhejiang province (China). Strong storm intensity level 10, gust level 12. The danger zone will expand to the north of the latitude of 23 degrees north; east of the longitude of 117.5 degrees east.
It is forecasted that in the next 72 hours, the storm will tend to move west-northwest at a speed of 5 - 10km/h and gradually weaken into a low pressure area. The location of the low pressure area is currently at about 28.2 degrees north latitude; 119.6 degrees east longitude, in Zhejiang province (China).
Regarding the impact of the storm, the northeastern sea area of the North East Sea will have storms, strong winds of level 7 - 9, near the storm's eye level 10 - 11, gusting to level 13. The sea is rough, with waves 4 to 6m high. Ship operating in the above dangerous waters are at high risk of being affected by thunderstorms, tornadoes, strong winds and large waves.
