The strongest wind near the center of the storm was level 8 (62 - 74 km/h), gusting to level 10. The storm moved southwest at a speed of 15 - 20 km/h.
It is forecasted that in the next 12 hours, the storm will move southwest at a speed of 15 - 20 km/h, weakening into a tropical depression. At 1:00 a.m. on November 12, the center of the tropical depression will be at about 15.1 degrees north latitude - 109.7 degrees east longitude; over the sea of Quang Nam - Binh Dinh. The strongest wind near the center of the tropical depression is at level 6, gusting to level 8.
In the next 24 hours, the storm is forecast to move southwest at a speed of 15km/h, weakening into a low pressure area. At 1pm on November 12, the center of the low pressure area is at about 13.9 degrees north latitude - 108.9 degrees east longitude; on the mainland of Quang Ngai - Phu Yen provinces. The strongest wind near the center of the low pressure area is below level 6.
Regarding the impact of the storm at sea, the Hoang Sa archipelago sea area has strong winds of level 6 - 7, the area near the storm's eye has level 8, gusts of level 10, waves 2 - 4m high, the area near the storm's eye has 3 - 5m; rough seas.
From the afternoon of November 11, the sea off the coast of Thua Thien Hue to Binh Dinh has winds gradually increasing to level 6 - 7, gusting to level 9, waves 2 - 4m high; rough seas.
Ships operating in the above mentioned dangerous areas are likely to be affected by storms, whirlwinds, strong winds and large waves.
