Latest update from the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, early this morning, November 8, storm Yinxing entered the eastern sea of the North East Sea, becoming storm number 7 in 2024.
At 7:00 a.m., the center of the storm was at about 18.5 degrees north latitude; 119.5 degrees east longitude, in the eastern sea of the North East Sea.
The strongest wind near the storm center is level 13 - 14 (134 - 166 km/h), gusting to level 17. Moving west, speed about 10 - 15 km/h.
It is forecasted that in the next 24 hours, storm No. 7 will move westward at a speed of about 15 - 20 km/h. At 7:00 a.m. on November 9, the center of the storm will be at about 18.5 degrees north latitude - 115.7 degrees east longitude; in the North East Sea, about 510 km northeast of Hoang Sa archipelago.
The strongest wind near the storm center is level 13, gusting to level 16.
It is forecasted that in the next 48 hours, storm No. 7 will move west-northwest at a speed of about 10 - 15km/h, gradually weakening. At 7:00 a.m. on November 10, the center of the storm was at about 18.8 degrees north latitude - 112.7 degrees east longitude; about 270km north-northeast of Hoang Sa archipelago.
The strongest wind near the storm center is level 12, gusting to level 15.
Forecast in the next 72 hours, the storm will move southwest at a speed of 5 - 10km/h, weakening further. At 7:00 a.m. on November 11, the center of the storm was at about 17.7 degrees north latitude - 111.5 degrees east longitude; about 130km north of Hoang Sa archipelago.
The strongest wind near the storm center is level 10 - 11, gusting to level 14.
From the next 72 to 120 hours, the storm moved southwest, traveling 10 - 15km per hour, and continued to weaken.
At sea, the eastern sea area of the North East Sea has strong winds of level 8 - 11, near the storm's eye level 12 - 14, gusts of level 17, waves 4 - 6m high, near the eye 6 - 8m; rough seas.
