According to the bulletin issued at 9:30 am on April 23 from the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, through monitoring on satellite images, lightning positioning data and weather radar images, convective clouds still exist and develop in the Hanoi area (including Soc Son, Noi Bai, Yen Xuan, Quang Minh, Yen Lang, Tien Thang, Tung Thien, Doai Phuong, Suoi Hai, Ba Vi, Phuc Tho, Phuc Loc, Hoai Duc, Duong Hoa, Son Dong, Phu Cat, Thach That, Ha Bang, Hoa Lac, Tay Phuong, Chuong My, Xuan Mai, Hoa Phu, Dan Hoa, Phuong Duc, Ung Hoa, Hoa Xa, My Duc, Phuc Son, Hong Son, Huong Son, Chuong Duong, Thuong Phuc).
The meteorological agency warns that in the period from now until the next 3 hours, the above-mentioned areas will continue to have showers and thunderstorms, then spread to other wards/communes in inner Hanoi. In thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind. Warning level of natural disaster risk due to tornadoes, lightning, and hail is level 1.
When there is a risk of thunderstorms, tornadoes and strong gusts of wind, people need to closely monitor warning bulletins and limit going out when the weather turns thunderstormy.
