This cloud area is tending to develop, expand and move southward.
Warning that in the period from now until the next 3 hours, Trung Gia commune is likely to have showers and thunderstorms, then spread to Kim Anh, Soc Son, Noi Bai wards/communes and other areas of Hanoi city. In thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind.
The meteorological agency also updated rain forecast information in various regions. From the night of June 17 to the night of June 18, the Northern mountainous region will have moderate rain, heavy rain and thunderstorms with common rainfall of 30 - 80mm, locally very heavy rain with rainfall over 120mm.
The Northern Delta and Southern regions in the evening and night of June 15, are forecast to have scattered showers and thunderstorms with rainfall of 10 - 30mm, locally heavy rain over 70mm.
