From the night of July 18 to July 19, the mountainous and midland areas of the Northern region will have moderate rain, heavy rain and thunderstorms with rainfall of 40 - 70mm, locally very heavy rain over 150mm.
Other places in the North, the Central Highlands and Southern regions in the evening and night of July 16, are forecast to have scattered showers and thunderstorms with rainfall of 10 - 30mm, locally heavy rain over 80mm.

Warning from tonight (July 16) to July 21, a flood is likely to appear on the Northern rivers with a flood amplitude of 2 - 5m. During this flood, the peak flood water level on small rivers is likely to rise to alarm level 2 - alarm level 3; on the Thao River, Lo River and upstream of the Thai Binh system rivers will rise to alarm level 1 - alarm level 2, in some places above alarm level 2.
