On January 9th, day and night, the sea area from Gia Lai to Ca Mau, the North and Central East Sea (including Hoang Sa special zone) and the South East Sea area (including Truong Sa special zone) will have strong northeast winds at level 6, sometimes level 7, gusts of level 8 - 9; strong sea waves, waves 3-5m high.
In addition, on the day and night of January 9, the southern sea area in the central East Sea and the South East Sea area (including Truong Sa special zone) will have scattered showers and thunderstorms; in thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes and strong gusts of wind.
On January 10, day and night, the sea area from Gia Lai to Ca Mau and the sea area west of the South China Sea (including the sea area west of the Truong Sa special zone) will have strong northeast winds at level 6, gusts at level 7 - 8; rough seas, waves 2-4m high.
From late afternoon and night of January 10, the North and Central East Sea (including Hoang Sa special zone) will have strong northeast winds at level 6, sometimes level 7 at night, gusts of level 8 - 9; strong sea waves, waves 2 - 4m high.
The meteorological agency warns that the level of natural disaster risk at sea is level 2. All ships operating in the above areas are at high risk of being affected by strong winds and big waves.
