According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, the activity of the northeast monsoon continues to cause unfavorable weather in some sea areas. Currently, the northeast sea area of the Northern East Sea and Huyen Tran station have strong northeast winds of level 6.
On the night of January 28 and January 29, the sea area east of the Northern East Sea area has strong winds of level 6, gusts of level 7 - 8; rough seas, waves 2 - 4m high.
The sea area from Lam Dong to Vinh Long has strong winds of level 5, sometimes level 6, gusts of level 7; rough seas; northeast wind direction; waves 2-3m high, waves facing northeast.
The sea area west of the South China Sea area (including the western Truong Sa special zone) has strong northeast winds of level 6, gusts of level 7; rough seas. From tomorrow, the wind will gradually decrease; sea waves will be 2-3m high, waves heading northeast.
On the night of January 29 and January 30, the sea area east of the Northern East Sea area will have strong northeast winds at level 6, gusts at level 7 - 8; rough seas; waves 2-4m high.
The meteorological agency warns that the level of natural disaster risk at sea is level 2. All ships operating in the above areas are at high risk of being affected by strong winds and big waves.
Regarding sea weather, the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting forecasts that there is little chance of storms or tropical depressions appearing in the East Sea area in the next 1 month. According to multi-year average data, in the East Sea there are 0.13 storms/tropical depression, not making landfall in Vietnam.
