On the night of January 17 and January 18, the sea area east of the Northern East Sea area has strong northeast winds of level 6, sometimes level 7, gusts of level 8 - 9; strong sea waves; waves 2 - 4m high. Weather forecast for the night of January 18 and January 19 continues to dien bien as above.
The meteorological agency warns that the level of natural disaster risk at sea is level 2. All ships operating in the above areas are at high risk of being affected by strong winds and big waves.
The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting has also updated information on the weather situation and natural disasters both at sea and on land next week. Accordingly, around the evening and night of January 20-21, the weather in the North and Central regions will be affected by a strong cold air wave.
Due to the influence of the northeast monsoon from the evening and night of January 20 - January 22, there will be rain in the Northern region. From about January 21, the North will be cold, with places experiencing severe cold; from January 22, the mountainous and midland areas of the North will be severely cold, with places experiencing severe cold. The lowest temperature in the mountainous and midland areas is in the range of 8 - 11 degrees C, in the Northern Delta region the temperature is in the range of 11 - 13 degrees C. From January 22 - 23, the Central Central region will have rain, showers, and locally moderate rain and thunderstorms.
At sea, from near dawn and January 21, the Northern East Sea area (including Hoang Sa special zone) has strong northeast winds of level 6, sometimes level 7, gusts of level 8 - 9, strong sea waves.
From the night of January 22 - 23, the Gulf of Tonkin will have northeast winds gradually strengthening to level 6, gusting to level 7 - 8, rough seas.
From January 23 - 25, the sea area from Quang Tri to Ca Mau, the central East Sea area, the western sea area of the South East Sea (including the western sea area of the Truong Sa special zone) will gradually strengthen northeast winds to level 6, sometimes level 7, gusts of level 8 - 9, strong sea waves.
