The area from Hue city to Da Nang city, eastern Quang Ngai province, Southern Vietnam and Lam Dong on the day and night of September 20, there will be moderate rain and thunderstorms with rainfall of 20 - 40mm, locally heavy to very heavy rain over 100mm. Rain time is concentrated in the afternoon and night.

The area from the south of Thanh Hoa province to Quang Tri, other places in the South Central Coast and Central Highlands region on the day and night of September 20, there will be showers and scattered thunderstorms with rainfall of 15-30mm, locally heavy rain over 80mm. Rain time is concentrated in the afternoon and evening.

In thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind. Warning level of natural disaster risk due to heavy rain, tornadoes, lightning, hail is level 1.

Rainstorms accompanied by tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind can affect agricultural production, causing trees to fall, damage to houses, traffic works, and infrastructure. Localized heavy rains are likely to cause flash floods on small rivers and streams, landslides on slopes, and flooding in low-lying areas.

The meteorological agency has also warned of heavy rain coming in some provinces and cities in the Central and Southern regions.

From about the afternoon of September 21 to September 24, in the eastern area of Gia Lai province and Dak Lak, Khanh Hoa, Lam Dong, and Southern provinces, there will be moderate rain, heavy rain and thunderstorms, locally very heavy rain with common rainfall from 150 - 250mm/period, locally over 400mm/period.
