The southern area of Khanh Hoa province and the northern part of Lam Dong province will have moderate rain, heavy rain with common rainfall of 50 - 100mm, locally very heavy rain over 150mm.
The eastern area of Dak Lak province and the north of Khanh Hoa province will have heavy to very heavy rain with common rainfall of 150 - 250mm, locally over 450mm. Warning of the risk of heavy rain with rainfall greater than 200mm within 3 hours.
The Southern region will have scattered showers and thunderstorms, locally heavy rain with rainfall of 10 - 30mm, locally over 50mm. The rain will be concentrated in the afternoon and evening. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.
On the day and night of November 22, Da Nang and the eastern provinces from Quang Ngai to Dak Lak and northern Khanh Hoa will have moderate rain, heavy rain with common rainfall of 40 - 70mm, locally very heavy rain over 150mm.
From November 24, heavy rain in the Central region will tend to decrease rapidly.
The meteorological agency warns that the risk of natural disasters due to heavy rain, tornadoes, lightning, and hail is level 1, especially in the eastern part of Dak Lak province and the northern part of Khanh Hoa province.
Heavy rain is likely to cause flooding in low-lying areas, urban and industrial areas; flash floods on small rivers and streams, landslides on steep slopes.
