On the morning of November 20, in the process of responding to and overcoming the consequences of floods in Dien Khanh commune, the Fire Fighting and Rescue Team (CC&CNCH) of Region 4 promptly rescued 33 people on a passenger bus that was in distress and was at risk of being swept away by floodwaters.

Initial information, at around 0:35 on November 20, while traveling through Cau Lung - an area deeply flooded due to rising floods - the rescue team discovered a 40-seat passenger car with license plate 76B-009.52 of Chin Nghia Company traveling on National Highway 1A in the direction of Ho Chi Minh City - Quang Ngai.
Due to the strong water, the car suddenly lost control, while there were 30 passengers and 3 people in the crew on board.
Realizing the great risk of vehicles being swept away by floodwaters, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Team of Area 4 immediately deployed an approach plan and organized emergency rescue.

Using professional measures, the authorities took all 33 people out of the danger zone and moved them to a safe place. No human casualties were recorded in the incident.
