Weather forecast for the next 24 to 48 hours
The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting predicts that the weather in the North and Central regions will be affected by strong cold air.
The Northern region, Thanh Hoa and Nghe An will have rain in some places on the night of November 16, from November 17 to 18, there will be rain, showers and thunderstorms in some places, especially Nghe An will have some places with moderate rain and heavy rain. Cold at night and morning, from the night of November 17, the weather will turn cold, the mountainous areas of the North will be very cold, and the high mountainous areas will be very cold in some places.
The area from Ha Tinh to Khanh Hoa will have moderate rain, heavy rain and thunderstorms, locally very heavy rain; the area from Ha Tinh to Da Nang and the east of Quang Ngai and Gia Lai provinces will have heavy to very heavy rain.
Other areas will have moderate rain and thunderstorms, with some places having heavy to very heavy rain.
The meteorological agency warns that thunderstorms may cause tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind.
Weather trend forecast from the night of November 18 to November 26
The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting has made a statement on notable weather trends in some areas from the night of November 18 to November 26.
The Northern region and Thanh Hoa, Nghe An will have rain, showers and thunderstorms on the night of November 18, from November 19 there will be rain in some places. Cold weather, especially in the mountainous areas of the North from the night of November 18 to 20, there will be severe cold in some places.
The area from Ha Tinh to Khanh Hoa will have moderate rain, heavy rain and thunderstorms, locally very heavy rain until around November 21. From November 19, heavy rain will tend to decrease in the north of this area and will be concentrated in the south of the area. From November 22, heavy rain tends to decrease.
Lam Dong and the South are forecast to have scattered showers and thunderstorms in some places during the forecast period, especially from the night of November 18 to 19, there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms, with some places having heavy rain.
