Weather forecast for the next 24 to 48 hours
This afternoon, May 1st, the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting updated the weather forecast for the coming days in regions across the country. Accordingly, the weather in the North and North Central regions needs to be wary of thunderstorms from May 3rd.

On the night of May 2nd and day May 3rd, in the late afternoon and night there will be showers and thunderstorms in some places, sunny days, especially the area from Nghe An to Da Nang city and the east of provinces from Quang Ngai to Gia Lai will have hot sun, the western mountainous area from Nghe An to Hue City will have hot sun and intense heat. Especially the area from Thanh Hoa to Hue city in the late afternoon and evening of May 3rd will have scattered showers and thunderstorms.
The Southern region in the late afternoon and evening has scattered showers and thunderstorms in some places; sunny days, hot sun in some places, especially the East on May 2nd has hot sun.
The meteorological agency warns that thunderstorms are likely to occur with tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.
Weather trend forecast from the night of May 3rd to May 11th
The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting also gave a noteworthy weather trend in some areas from the night of May 3rd to May 11th.
The Northern region from the night of May 3rd to the morning of May 4th and the period from about the night of October 8th to May 10th will have scattered showers and thunderstorms, with locally heavy rain.
The area from Thanh Hoa to Hue city from the night of April 3rd to May 4th and from about November 9th to May 11th will have scattered showers and thunderstorms, with locally heavy rain.
Other areas have showers and thunderstorms in some places, especially the Central Highlands and Southern regions in the late afternoon and evening from July 4 - 5, there is a possibility of scattered showers and thunderstorms, locally heavy rain.
