The area from Nghe An to Khanh Hoa will have rain; the area from Thua Thien Hue to Phu Yen will have moderate rain, heavy rain, locally very heavy rain and thunderstorms on the night of December 27 and December 28. From the night of December 28, the area from Nghe An to Khanh Hoa will have scattered rain and showers.
The Central Highlands and the South will have scattered showers and thunderstorms. Thunderstorms may include tornadoes, lightning, and strong gusts of wind.

Northern and North Central regions have rain in some places, early morning fog in some places, sunny in the afternoon. Cold weather; from about January 1 to January 6, cold at night and in the morning; mountainous areas have severe cold.
The Central and South Central regions from the night of December 30, 2024 to January 3, 2025 will have rain, showers, locally heavy rain and thunderstorms. The North will be cold.
Other areas are forecast to have scattered showers and thunderstorms from now until January 6, 2025. In particular, from December 31 to January 1, there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms. Thunderstorms are likely to cause tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind.
