The Northern and North Central regions have showers and thunderstorms in some places; especially the North Central region on September 24 has rain, scattered showers and thunderstorms in some places.
The area from Hue city to Da Nang city, the eastern provinces from Quang Ngai to Dak Lak have heavy to very heavy rain and thunderstorms.
Lam Dong, Khanh Hoa provinces and the Southern region have moderate rain, heavy rain and thunderstorms, with locally very heavy rain.
Other areas have rain, moderate rain and thunderstorms, locally heavy rain.
The meteorological agency warns that thunderstorms are likely to occur with tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.

Other places in the Central and Southern regions have rain, moderate rain and thunderstorms, locally heavy rain until about September 26; then scattered showers and thunderstorms. Rain concentrates in the afternoon and evening.
