The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting has updated the weather forecast for tonight and tomorrow (January 3) in regions across the country.
The Northern region has light rain in some places. Cold weather, severe cold in mountainous areas, dangerous cold in some places. High mountainous areas should be wary of frost.
The area from Ha Tinh to Da Nang city and the eastern provinces from Quang Ngai to Dak Lak will have rain, showers; locally there will be moderate rain, heavy rain and thunderstorms.
Southern region has light rain in some places at night, sunny during the day.

Hanoi City
Lowest temperature: 13-15 degrees C.
Highest temperature: 17-20 degrees C.
Cloudy, no rain. Northeast wind level 2-3. Cold weather.
Northwest
Lowest temperature: 13-16 degrees C, in some places below 10 degrees C.
Highest temperature: 16-19 degrees C; in some places above 20 degrees C.
Cloudy, with light rain in some places. Light wind. Very cold, in some places severely cold. High mountainous areas should be wary of frost.
Northeast
Lowest temperature: 12-15 degrees C, mountainous areas 9-12 degrees C, in some places below 9 degrees C.
Highest temperature: 16-19 degrees C, in some places above 19 degrees C.
Cloudy, with rain in some places. Northeast wind level 3, coastal areas level 4-5, in some places gusting level 6. Cold weather, severe cold in mountainous areas, severe cold in some places. High mountainous areas should be wary of frost.
Thanh Hoa to Hue
Lowest temperature: 16-19 degrees C.
Highest temperature: North 19-21 degrees C, South 22-25 degrees C.
Cloudy, the North (Thanh Hoa, Nghe An) has rain in some places; the South has rain, showers and thunderstorms in some places, locally moderate rain, heavy rain. North to northwest wind level 2-3, coastal areas level 4-5, in some places gusting level 6. In thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind. The North is cold, the South is cold.
South Central Coast
Lowest temperature: 20-23 degrees C, in the North there are places below 20 degrees C.
Highest temperature: 25-28 degrees C, in the South there are places above 28 degrees C.

Highest temperature: 24-27 degrees C, in the South there are places above 27 degrees C.
