The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting has issued a noteworthy weather trend forecast for the June period. Accordingly, it is likely to record some noteworthy weather developments, especially the storm season may start.
Regarding the temperature trend, the average temperature nationwide is generally 0.5 - 1 degree Celsius higher than the multi-year average, in some places higher.

According to Mr. Nguyen Duc Hoa - Deputy Head of the Climate Forecasting Department, National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, in June, hot weather will continue to increase.
Hot weather is likely to appear widespread in the first days of the month and then may continue to occur a few times in the month in the North and Central regions. It is necessary to be wary of the possibility of intense and especially intense heat in the above areas in June" - Mr. Hoa recommended.
Previously, in May, the Northern and Central regions experienced 2 widespread hot spells on May 13-17 and May 23-28 with the highest common temperature of 36-39 degrees Celsius, in some places above 40 degrees Celsius. At some meteorological stations, the absolute highest daily temperature has been recorded exceeding the historical value of the same period.


Total rainfall in June in areas nationwide is generally lower than the multi-year average by 10 - 25%; especially the Northern region and the provinces from Thanh Hoa, Nghe An have a commonly higher total rainfall than the multi-year average by 5 - 10%.
In June, widespread heavy rain will continue to appear in the Northern region, Central Highlands and Southern region; in other areas, showers and thunderstorms are commonly localized. Thunderstorms, tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind are likely to appear nationwide, concentrated more in the Northern region, Central Highlands and Southern region" - Mr. Hoa said.
Dangerous weather trend at sea, in June, storms/tropical depressions are likely to appear in the East Sea area at a level equivalent to the multi-year average of the same period. According to multi-year average data, in June in the East Sea area there were 1.1 storms/tropical depressions and landfall inland Vietnam was 0.3 storms.
The monthly climate forecast bulletin is for trend forecasting. The meteorological agency recommends that in the context of climate change, weather, and climate are increasingly complicated with many dangerous and extreme forms.
Therefore, it is proposed that all levels of government and people regularly update and integrate forecast information and hydrometeorological warnings in 1-3-day short-term bulletins, to promptly adjust production plans and appropriate response plans to ensure safety for production and people's livelihoods.
