According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, this afternoon (November 19), cold air has affected most places in the South Central region. In the North and North Central regions, there will be rain and showers. At Bach Long Vy station, there are strong northeast winds of level 7, sometimes level 8, gusting to level 9; Hon Ngu station has strong northeast winds of level 6, gusting to level 9; Con Co station has strong northeast winds of level 6, gusting to level 8; Ly Son station has strong northeast winds of level 6, sometimes level 7, gusting to level 9.

In the evening and night of November 19, cold air continues to affect other places in the South Central region. On land, strong northeast winds of level 3-4, coastal areas of level 4-5, some places of level 6, gusting to level 7.

The Northern region and from Thanh Hoa to Hue are cold, the mountainous areas of the North have some places with severe cold. The lowest temperature in this cold air mass in the North is generally from 11-14 degrees Celsius, in high mountainous areas below 5 degrees Celsius; in the North Central region from 12-15 degrees Celsius; in Quang Tri and Hue provinces from 16-19 degrees Celsius.

The meteorological agency has provided detailed forecast information on the temperature in the next 2 days.

On the night of November 19 and November 20, the North will have the lowest temperature of 11-14 degrees Celsius, in high mountainous areas below 5 degrees Celsius. The average temperature is 15-17 degrees Celsius, in high mountainous areas below 13 degrees Celsius. The North Central region has the lowest temperature of 12-15 degrees Celsius, the average temperature is 16-18 degrees Celsius.

Quang Tri and Hue areas have the lowest temperature of 16-19 degrees Celsius, the average temperature is 19-21 degrees Celsius.

On the night of November 20 and November 21, the lowest temperature in the Northern region will be 12-15 degrees Celsius, in high mountainous areas it will be below 6 degrees Celsius. The average temperature will be 16-18 degrees Celsius, in high mountainous areas it will be below 14 degrees Celsius.

The North Central region has the lowest temperature of 15-18 degrees Celsius, the average temperature is 17-19 degrees Celsius. The Quang Tri and Hue areas have the lowest temperature of 17-20 degrees Celsius, the average temperature is 20-22 degrees Celsius.

No rain, cold weather in Hanoi. The lowest temperature in this cold air mass is generally between 12-14 degrees Celsius.

The area from Da Nang to Khanh Hoa will have widespread heavy rain due to the influence of increased cold air combined with disturbances in the high-altitude easterly wind zone.

Cold and very cold weather is likely to affect livestock and poultry; affecting the growth and development of crops.

Heavy rain is likely to cause flooding in low-lying areas; flash floods on small rivers and streams, landslides on steep slopes; heavy rain in a short period of time causes flooding in urban areas and industrial parks.

At sea, the Gulf of Tonkin has strong northeast winds of level 6, gusting to level 7, rough seas, waves 3-5m high; the North East Sea area (including Hoang Sa special zone) has strong northeast winds of level 7-8, gusting to level 9-10, rough seas, waves 4-6m high.

The area from South Quang Tri to Quang Ngai and the northern sea area of the central East Sea will have strong northeast winds of level 6, sometimes level 7, gusting to level 8-9, rough seas, waves 4-6m high. The sea area from Gia Lai to Ca Mau has northeast winds of level 6, gusting to level 7-8, waves 3-5m high, rough seas.

Strong winds, gusts of wind and large waves at sea are likely to affect the operation of ships and other activities.
