The sea area from Khanh Hoa to Binh Thuan on the day and night of February 17 is forecast to have strong winds of level 5, sometimes level 6, gusting to level 7 - 8. The sea is rough, with waves 2 - 3m high.
Day and night of February 18, the North East Sea area (including the east of Hoang Sa archipelago) has strong northeast winds of level 6, gusting to level 7 - 8, rough seas, waves 2 - 4.5m high; the sea area from Khanh Hoa to Binh Thuan has strong northeast winds of level 5, sometimes level 6, gusting to level 7 - 8, rough seas, waves 2 - 3.5m high.
The meteorological agency warns that the risk of natural disasters due to strong winds at sea is level 2. All ships operating in the above areas are at high risk of being affected by tornadoes, strong winds and big waves.
