On June 28, the Fire and Rescue Police Department (PCCC-CNCH) of Lam Dong Provincial Police said: Before the 2026 rainy season, the unit has coordinated with the police of communes, wards, special zones and specialized agencies to review areas at risk of flooding, subsidence, and landslides to proactively develop response plans.

Through inspection, the whole province recorded 505 locations and areas at risk of natural disasters, including 127 areas at risk of flooding and 378 areas at risk of subsidence and landslides.
In which, many points with high risk of landslides are located on key pass routes such as Bao Loc Pass, Prenn, Mimosa, D'Ran (National Highway 20); Dai Ninh Pass (National Highway 28B) and Gia Bac Pass (National Highway 28).
Areas at risk of flooding and flash floods are distributed in many localities throughout the province, mainly along rivers, streams, irrigation reservoirs and low-lying areas.

The Fire and Rescue Police Department recommends that people living and producing in areas at risk of landslides, flash floods, and flooding should regularly monitor weather developments.
From there, proactively take preventive measures and promptly notify functional agencies when detecting signs of unsafety to have handling plans, ensuring safety for people and property.
