On June 1st, the People's Committee of Lam Dong province said that it had requested units and localities in the area to proactively monitor weather developments, review areas at risk of landslides and flooding to promptly implement response measures.

According to functional agencies, in recent days, many localities in the province have experienced moderate to heavy rain on a large scale.
Forecast for the coming time, rain will continue, posing a risk of landslides in hilly areas, riversides, streams and places with weak soil foundations.
Prolonged heavy rain can also cause localized flooding in residential areas, low-lying areas and some traffic routes, affecting people's lives, activities and production.
The Provincial People's Committee requests localities to strengthen inspections of key points, areas at risk of landslides and flooding; review households living in unsafe locations to proactively plan responses when necessary.

Disaster prevention and control forces are required to fully prepare personnel, vehicles, and supplies to be ready to deploy rescue and relief work and overcome consequences when situations occur.
Functional agencies also recommend that people regularly monitor weather forecasts and warnings; proactively check houses, drainage systems and do not move through deeply flooded areas, fast-flowing water or signs of landslides to ensure safety.
