On September 29, the mountainous and midland areas of the North are forecast to have scattered showers and thunderstorms, locally heavy to very heavy rain with rainfall from 15 - 30mm, locally over 70mm.
From the evening of September 29 to the night of September 30, there is forecast to be moderate to heavy rain and scattered thunderstorms, with some places experiencing very heavy rain. Total rainfall is generally between 50 and 120mm, with some places experiencing over 200mm.
Other places in the North and Thanh Hoa from the night of September 29 to the night of September 30, it is forecasted that there will be moderate rain, heavy rain and scattered thunderstorms, locally very heavy rain with total rainfall from 30-80mm, locally over 150mm.
The meteorological agency forecasts that from October 1, heavy rain will decrease rapidly in the Northern region and Thanh Hoa.
