According to the Southern Hydrometeorological Station, in the next 24-48 hours, the intertropical convergence zone (ITCZ) with its axis through the Northern and North Central regions will continue to rise slowly to the North and gradually weaken. Southwest monsoons maintain intensity from moderate to strong.
Above, the southern branch of the subtropical high pressure through the South East Sea area weakens and lowers its axis southward. Upper-level wind convergence is operating well, creating conditions for thunderstorms to continue to appear in the South.
In the next 3-10 days, the low pressure trough through the Northern region will be weak and gradually faint. In the last 3-4 days, a low pressure trough with axis through the Northern region is likely to form again. The Southwest monsoon will continue to operate with moderate to strong intensity.

Therefore, the southern provinces and cities are generally experiencing light rain, light showers, and moderate rain in some places. Especially the northern areas of Dong Nai and Tay Ninh are likely to experience localized heavy rain. The main rain time is concentrated in the afternoon and evening, from about 1 pm to 8 pm.
On August 12-13, when high-altitude wind convergence weakens, rain in the South is forecast to gradually decrease. Rainstorms will only appear on about 1/3 of the area, locally with moderate rain and little chance of heavy rain.
