Notably, the northern areas of Ho Chi Minh City are likely to continue to experience rain in the coming hours. Rain may spread down to Go Vap, Binh Chanh, old Hoc Mon, then expand to Tan Binh, old Binh Tan and surrounding areas.

In Tay Ninh, thunderstorms developed strongly in many communes such as Nhon Ninh, Tan Thanh, Nhon Hoa Lap, Thanh Hoa, Tan Tay, Hau Thanh, Thanh Phuoc, Tan Long, Tuyen Thanh, Binh Thanh, Moc Hoa, Vinh Chau and Duc Hue.

In thunderstorms, people need to be wary of tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind. People in areas at risk of flooding should proactively monitor weather developments, limit moving through deeply flooded roads and ensure safety when there are thunderstorms and lightning.
