On November 17, the People's Committee of Mui Ne Ward (Lam Dong Province) announced that it had issued a decision to administratively sanction Bao Thach Investment Joint Stock Company, the investor of Asteria Mui Ne Resort in the ward.
According to the decision, the enterprise that committed an administrative violation did not properly or fully implement one of the contents of the environmental license as prescribed.
The violation is stipulated in Point c, Clause 2, Article 11 of Decree No. 45/2022/ND-CP on administrative sanctions in the field of environmental protection. The People's Committee of Mui Ne Ward has issued a decision to fine the company VND 50 million.

This is the resort where the black water flooded, giving off a foul smell flowing onto the beach, causing many people and tourists to film a clip and post it on social media on August 10 and caused a stir in public opinion.
Through inspection, the People's Committee of Mui Ne Ward determined the cause originated from a filter tank problem in the wastewater treatment system of this resort.
