On the morning of July 12, information from the Hon Cau Marine Reserve Management Board said that a sea turtle had gone to Cau Cang beach, Hon Cau island to lay eggs. The mother turtle is a member of the family Pi, and the number of eggs given by the mother turtle is 112.

The staff of the Reserve and volunteers on the island collected eggs and brought them to the egg shelter at the Hon Cau Island Patrol Station. After that, the eggs are brought to the new hatchery, strictly protected, waiting for the baby turtle to bloom to release into the sea.
Hon Cau, also known as Cu Lao Cau, is a small island in Lien Huong commune, Lam Dong province.
This is one of the places where sea turtles often lay eggs, especially during the breeding season from May to October every year.

Currently, Hon Cau Sea Reserve is recruiting volunteers in batches to participate in environmental protection and sea turtle conservation activities.
The main tasks include: Staying on duty at night on the beach to monitor turtles laying eggs, protecting the eggplant and clearing the beach.
