On August 17, Hoa Thang Commune Police, Lam Dong Province, said that they had helped 2 Russian tourists find the lost phones.
Earlier, in the early morning, two foreign tourists, Mr. Beziuk Rostislav (born in 1993) and Ms. Liudmila Dashinimaeva (born in 1988), both of whom were Russian citizens, went to Hoa Thang Commune Police to report the loss of their phones on the road from Phan Ba Cua Commune to Hoa Thang Commune.
The phone contains a lot of important data for work and travel in Vietnam, so tourists urgently ask the police to help find it.
Upon receiving the information, Major Tran Trung Hieu - Head of Hoa Thang Commune Police - sent forces to determine the location of the phone through positioning. The results showed that the phone was located about 10km from the police station.

That same night, the commune police went directly to the scene to verify. After only 30 minutes, the police found the person who picked up the phone. This person voluntarily returned the property he had picked up.
Immediately afterwards, Hoa Thang Commune Police handed over the phone to the two tourists. Moved when receiving the phone back, Mr. Rostislav expressed his gratitude for the quick support and responsibility of the police force.
Timely recovery of property for tourists not only helps strengthen the trust and friendly image of local police but also demonstrates the sense of responsibility and dedication of the People's Public Security force.
