On the morning of August 7, at the Immigration Department of Khanh Hoa Provincial Police, the unit's leaders coordinated with the Criminal Police Department, Provincial Police to return all assets to Mr. Shin Inho (born in 1972, Korean nationality).
Before that, Mr. Shin Inho went to Nha Trang to travel and seek business opportunities. While traveling, on the afternoon of August 6, Mr. Shin Inho dropped his wallet without knowing it.
Also during this time, Mr. Nguyen Duy Chung (residing in Hanoi) was walking on Tran Phu Street and picked up a black leather wallet.
Checking inside the wallet, Mr. Chung discovered many personal documents in the name of Shin Inho and cash. Mr. Nguyen Duy Chung brought all the picked up assets to the police station.
The police agency has checked the wallet and determined that it contained more than 5 million VND, 100 USD, driver's license, bank card, and temporary residence card under the name of Shin Inho.
The Criminal Police Department and the Immigration Department - Khanh Hoa Provincial Police quickly coordinated to verify and urgently search for the owner of the wallet. By the evening of August 6, the authorities had contacted Mr. Shin Inho to hand over the property.
As soon as he received the wallet and related assets and documents, Mr. Shin Inho thanked Mr. Nguyen Duy Chung and the officers and soldiers of Khanh Hoa Provincial Police for actively verifying and searching for the return of the assets.
Mr. Shin Inho said that he has been in Vietnam investing in restaurants and food services in Ho Chi Minh City for the past 8 years. On this occasion, Mr. Shin Inho went to Nha Trang to find an opportunity to invest in opening a coffee shop in Bac Nha Trang ward.
While searching for the site, Mr. Shin Inho dropped a leather wallet with many important documents.
