Voluntary blood donation is a humanitarian activity of special significance, contributing to saving patients and spreading the spirit of responsibility for the community. In recent years, the blood donation movement in the Phu Tho Provincial Police force has been maintained regularly, attracting a large number of officers and soldiers to participate. Among them, Senior Lieutenant Le Duy Nam, Secretary of the Youth Union of Hop Kim Commune Police, is a typical union member, many years attached and persistent in this activity.

For Comrade Nam, blood donation is not a movement-based activity but has become a habit and personal responsibility. Right from his time studying at the People's Police Academy, he has actively participated in blood donation programs such as "Red Sunday", "Spring Hong Festival". Over many years, he has directly donated blood 11 times, regularly and voluntarily.
Not only participating in a personal role, Senior Lieutenant Le Duy Nam also proactively mobilized friends and comrades to participate in blood donation, contributing to maintaining the movement in the unit. The exemplary spirit of the comrade has created a positive spread, helping many union members and young people to better understand the meaning of blood donation to save people.
In his position as Secretary of the Youth Union of Hop Kim Commune Police, Senior Lieutenant Le Duy Nam continued to be the core in youth union movements and social security work at the grassroots level. He advised the leaders of the Commune Police to organize the "Commune Police Foster Child" model to support children in particularly difficult circumstances in the area. Accordingly, the Youth Union of Hop Kim Commune Police received sponsorship for 3 orphaned children, belonging to poor households, with a support level of 500,000 VND/child/month, contributing to sharing difficulties and encouraging children to rise up in study and training.

Sharing about the blood donation journey and charity activities, Senior Lieutenant Le Duy Nam said: "As a commune police officer, I always believe that serving the people is not only about professional tasks but also about the spirit of dedication to the community. Charity trips or each time directly participating in voluntary blood donation are not only a responsibility, but also a burning passion shared and spreading love. Seeing the smiles of the people and the drops of blood being given away, I am even more confident in the ideal of a young soldier: living is to contribute and be dedicated, giving away is forever.
In addition to professional work, comrade Nam and young people continue to maintain the "Cong Huong" charity club, organizing activities such as winter warm clothes, Mid-Autumn Festival for children, and exam season support. In any role, the spirit of "serving the people" is still the consistent direction in the journey of dedication of young police soldiers.
