HUE - Border Guard officers and soldiers of Hue City support working days to help near-poor households build new houses.

On May 12, Chan May Port Border Guard Station (Hue City Border Guard Command) mobilized officers and soldiers to coordinate with local authorities to support working days to help near-poor households in Chan May - Lang Co commune build houses under the program "Eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses".

Ms. Le Thi Phuc's family (residing in Thuy Yen Ha village, Chan May commune - Lang Co) currently lives in a seriously degraded house, with damaged roofs, not ensuring safety during the rainy and storm season. This is a near-poor household with difficult housing circumstances in the locality.

Officers and soldiers of Chan May Port Border Guard Station directly participated in dismantling the old roof, transporting construction materials, and supporting the family to accelerate the construction progress of the new house.

The activity contributes to helping Ms. Phuc's family soon stabilize their lives, and at the same time shows the spirit of responsibility, joining hands to take care of social security of the Hue City Border Guard force and local authorities in the sea border area.
