On December 25, Da Nang City Police informed that while traveling in Da Nang City, a tourist from Hong Kong (China) unfortunately dropped his iPhone into a deep drainage ditch.
While confused because the sewer mouth is quite deep and narrow and cannot be taken by themselves, visitors have received timely help from the local police force.
Accordingly, as soon as they received the report of the incident, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police of Da Nang City Police in coordination with Hai Chau Ward Police quickly arrived at the scene to support this tourist. The police officers used specialized equipment to overturn the concrete culvert covers.
After a period of effort, the phone was found and handed over to the owner in a state of still functioning well.
After receiving the dropped phone, the Hong Kong (China) tourist could not hide his emotions. This female tourist continuously greeted and sent sincere thanks in English and gestures: "Thank you Vietnam, thank you Da Nang Police. I was really surprised, they were not only fast but also very dedicated. I feel very safe and welcome here".
