Buying SJC gold bars, profit over VND4 million/tael after a month
At DOJI, the price of SJC gold bars on the morning of December 25 was listed at 156.8 - 158.8 million VND/tael. Compared to November 25, the buying price increased by 6.4 million VND/tael, while the selling price also increased by 6.4 million VND/tael. With the current price, buyers of SJC gold at DOJI a month ago are making a profit of about 4.4 million VND/tael.
At Bao Tin Minh Chau, the purchase price increased from 150.9 to 156.8 million VND/tael (up 5.9 million VND), the selling price increased from 152.4 to 158.8 million VND/tael (up 6.4 million VND). The profit of buyers at the end of November reached about 4.4 million VND/tael.

Meanwhile, Phu Quy adjusted the buying price from 149.9 to 155.8 million VND/tael (up 5.9 million VND), the selling price increased from 152.4 to 158.8 million VND/tael (up 6.4 million VND). SJC gold buyers in Phu Quy made a profit of about VND3.4 million/tael after a month.
Gold ring buyers earn lower profits due to high difference
For DOJI gold rings, the buying price increased from 148.7 to 154 million VND/tael, the selling price increased from 151.7 to 157 million VND/tael, equivalent to an increase of 5.3 million VND/tael in both directions. After a month, buyers made a profit of about 2.3 million VND/tael.
At Bao Tin Minh Chau, the buying price of gold rings increased by 5.8 million VND/tael, from 149.5 to 155.3 million VND/tael; the selling price increased from 152.5 to 158.3 million VND/tael. The interest rate recorded is about 2.8 million VND/tael.

For Phu Quy, the purchase price increased from 148.8 to 154.5 million VND/tael (up 5.7 million VND), the selling price increased from 151.8 to 157.5 million VND/tael (up 5.7 million VND). Buyers of gold rings here make a profit of about 2.7 million VND/tael.
Risks still exist, investors need to be cautious
Although domestic gold prices are at a high level, the buying-selling gap is still maintained at VND23 million/tael, causing the risk for individual investors to increase significantly. "Reaching the peak" by buying gold according to FOMO psychology could put people at risk of losses if prices reverse in the short term.

Notably, world gold prices are showing signs of adjusting down again after a period of hot increase. If the downward trend continues, the domestic gold market could be under strong correction pressure.
Therefore, individual investors, especially those who intend to short-term surfing, need to consider carefully, avoid following the crowd to limit financial risks.
