On August 24, Dak Lak Provincial Police informed that functional forces had just returned wallet to a tourist who dropped it at the Durian Festival.
Accordingly, at about 1:00 PM on August 17, while patrolling and ensuring security and order in the Dak Lak Museum area (serving the Durian Festival), the Task Force of the Mobile Police Department, Dak Lak Provincial Police discovered a black leather wallet dropped in the entrance area.
Checking inside, the task force discovered more than 2 million VND in cash and many personal papers. Immediately after that, the task force reported to the unit commander, and at the same time proceeded to verify and search for the owner of the wallet to return the property.
Through verification, the Mobile Police Team identified the owner of the wallet as Mr. N.T. N, a tourist from Lam Dong province, who was visiting activities within the framework of the Dak Lak Durian Festival 2026.
On the evening of August 18, at the headquarters of the Mobile Police Department, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Van Quynh directly met Mr. N.T. N, verified information and completed procedures to return the entire amount of money and personal papers.
Receiving the lost property back, Mr. N.T. N expressed his gratitude for the sense of responsibility and dedication of officers and soldiers of the Mobile Police Department of Dak Lak Provincial Police.
