Hung Yen - Transferring 100 million VND to a stranger's account by mistake, a man was supported by the police agency to receive the money back.

On June 1, Hung Yen Provincial Police said that the Network Security and High-Tech Crime Prevention Department of the Provincial Police had just promptly supported a citizen to receive back 100 million VND due to a mistaken transfer.

Accordingly, Mr. P.T. D (born in 1973, residing in Da Lat City) in the process of carrying out bank transactions, unintentionally transferred the wrong amount of 100 million VND to the account of an unknown person. After discovering the incident, Mr. P.T. D proactively contacted the bank and reported to the police agency for support in resolving it.

Immediately after receiving the information, the Cyber Security and High-Tech Crime Prevention Department of Hung Yen Provincial Police urgently verified, coordinated with relevant units to review information, clarify the account holder who received the money and organized contact, mobilized the mistaken transfer recipient to coordinate in resolving the case.

Through the working process, Mr. N.T. H (born in 1990, residing in Duong Hao ward, Hung Yen province), who received the wrongly transferred money, actively coordinated with the police agency to resolve the case according to the provisions of law.
