According to the Ministry of Public Security, in the afternoon of January 5, 2025, in the process of performing the task of ensuring traffic order and safety in the area, the Order Police Team - Van Chan Commune Police (Lao Cai Provincial Police) promptly rescued a child in critical condition.
While on duty, the Task Force of Van Chan Commune Police received an urgent appeal from a citizen residing in Phieng 1 village (Van Chan commune) who said that the child in the family showed signs of high fever, convulsions, purple face, and the risk of serious life-threatening effects.
Immediately, the Task Force quickly approached and performed initial first aid. At the same time, they used specialized vehicles of the Commune Police to take the baby to Son Thinh Regional General Clinic for emergency treatment. Thanks to timely emergency care, the baby overcame the critical condition.
