According to information from the Ministry of Public Security, previously at 3:30 PM on January 3, Dak Rve Commune Police (Quang Ngai province) received a report from Mr. Nga Viet Dao (born in 1992, residing in hamlet 1 - Dak Rve commune) about Mr. Dao going to work in the fields in hamlet 5 - Dak Rve commune, bringing his child, Y Que Chi (born in 2020).
Due to negligence, Mr. Dao let his nephew play on his own in the field when he went missing in this area. The time of discovery of the incident was about 9:30 am, although the family made efforts to search but without results.
Immediately after receiving the news, it was determined that the situation was very urgent, the sky had begun to turn to the evening, the hilly terrain was dangerous, the weather was rainy and cold, which could directly threaten the baby's life. The Commune Police Command mobilized the entire Dak Rve Commune Police force to coordinate with security and order forces at the grassroots level, along with departments, branches and local people to urgently organize searches.
The forces also divided into many wings, carefully reviewed each plot of fields, ponds, streams, regardless of wind and cold rain. After about 2 hours of continuous search efforts, at 5:00 PM on the same day, the search force and the family discovered Chi in the hilltop area, about 1km from the lost location.

At the time of being found, Chi was in a state of exhaustion and panic due to hunger and cold. Officers and soldiers of Dak Rve Commune Police promptly reassured her and brought her back to her family, currently the baby's health has stabilized.
Touched when meeting their daughter again, Mr. Dao's family sent deep thanks for the sense of responsibility and dedication of the Dak Rve Commune Police force.
Through the above incident, the police agency also advised families, especially people living and working in fields and hills, to raise vigilance, pay attention to and closely monitor young children, to avoid the above incidents.
