On June 26, Ham Thuan Nam Commune Police (Lam Dong) said that the unit had just supported Ms. Pham Thi Ang (43 years old, residing in the locality) to receive back the amount of 112.8 million VND mistakenly transferred.
Previously, during interbank transactions, Ms. Ang carelessly transferred the above amount of money to another account.

After discovering it, Ms. Ang contacted the account holder many times to receive money but was unsuccessful, so she went to Ham Thuan Nam Commune Police to report and request support.
Immediately after receiving the information, the Commune Police directed officers to verify the incident, and at the same time coordinated with the Ho Chi Minh City Police and related units to clarify the account holder who received the money.
After the process of verification, mobilization and guidance of the parties to coordinate in resolving according to the provisions of law, by June 22, Ms. Ang had received back the entire amount of 112.8 million VND.
After receiving the property back, Ms. Pham Thi Ang sent a thank-you letter to Ham Thuan Nam Commune Police, expressing her emotion at the sense of responsibility, dedicated attitude, and closeness of officers and soldiers during the support process.
According to Ham Thuan Nam Commune Police, promptly helping people receive back the mistakenly transferred money contributes to protecting the legitimate rights of people, and at the same time spreads the image of grassroots police forces being dedicated, close to the people and serving the people.
